bad shots in animatic

I don't like this shot because the balance is all off and there are no leading lines, the only good part of the shot is that the frame was filled well, the shot is also not very well framed, also only some of the background is de-focused when it should be consistently focused or not

I didn't like this shot because it's way too central, the focus of the shot is right in the middle and there's not enough depth of field to the shot, everything in the shot is also very straight so it needs more diagonals and leading lines, at the moment it's very still and unbalanced, also looking at the rule of 3 in the shot the point of interest is in the wrong place entirely.
this shot suffers a lot in similar ways to the rest in the way it is framed wrong and has a lot of blank space with the background not being very interesting and the focus being incorrect
this shot was just a bad idea from the start, the foot shot is one that is overused and doesn't look nice, the background is cluttered and the entire frame is messy and has no order.

after effects screenshots - writeup-

Here I created a composition of the ice ball using generated shapes and textures I downloaded online. The ice texture was used in making the ice more realistic and 3d. I also traced the positioning of the ice ball with my hand using the tracking tool to make it follow my hand better. The ice ball composition was made by layering many shapes on top of each other and blending them with a random pattern to give it a more natural look. I also added a small amount of lighting and flare to the ball to make it look magical and emit a light around it.
Here I used a mask tool to create the mask of flame over Rory's legs and tracked the mask to his legs using the tracker tool. I then added the flames and smoke in a composition within the mask and blended them to make the legs appear to be made of fire with smoke bellowing out of them. I then tracked and morphed the mask to match the movement of Rory's legs as he stepped forwards.
Here was a more simple fireball effect that was a shot of fire coming from Rory's hand. This was done by layering a fireball video on top of the footage and using a chroma key to remove the background to leave the fire on its own. I then used the tracker to make the fire track his hand as he moved it backwards to create a look of recoil from the flame burst.

Submarine analysis

The purpose of the music in this clip is to show his thoughts about what he did. he is mostly showing regret for pushing the girl into the pond, and wanted to get redemption at least a little by writing her a guide on how to not be bullied.the music in the scene is very peaceful, showing his compassion and thoughtfulness about the situation.

The sound is mostly non-diegetic. There is some diegetic sounds like the type-writer in the clip. The music used is non-diegetic in the scene

The music is made to look like one of an older time and is put in to show the feelings of the protagonist and to create the mood the the scene, the music in the scene is very important to the overall feel of a scene in any case, replacing the music in the scene with something more light hearted might make the endeavor appear as a joke and more angry music may create the feeling of malice in the protagonist, and so on, this music choice creates an atmosphere of calm thinking and remorse for actions, just the feel that was needed.
